Who I am
I have been a practicing physical therapist since 2018, when I graduated from Ithaca College in upstate New York. Since then, I have worked for many companies treating patients in an outpatient clinic setting. During my early years, I had my stroke certification and primarily treated neurological cases. More recently, I started to focus on pelvic health, treating both men and women with incontinence, pelvic pain, and sexual dysfunction. I have also been training in visceral manipulation to better address the whole body.
While I continued to grow my knowledge and passion for these populations, I was continuously asked to make decisions that were better for the larger company’s success, but did not prioritize my patients and community. As insurance changes were happening federally and state-wide, I saw correlating negative changes to patient care.
After suffering moral injury from not being able to provide the best care for my patients, I took a break from treatment to regroup. The only solution to my problem was creating my own business where I could give patients the time, compassion, and environment to best be able to heal.
Outside of work, you might find me line dancing, enjoying the beautiful parks, or attempting to take my cat, Sophie, for a walk.
